What this checks

  • Item structure — placeholders, missing explanations, length parity, valid answer keys
  • Course-level bias — longest-correct rate, A/B/C/D position skew, length asymmetry, factor specificity, absolute-language asymmetry
  • Question quality (AI) — is the keyed answer correct? Are distractors plausible? Is the explanation substantive?
  • Lesson↔question alignment (AI) — does the lesson teach what the question tests?
  • Course pedagogy (AI) — gap fit, coherence, misconception surfacing, cognitive demand, shortcut learnability
  • FRQ quality (when applicable) — rubric structure, grader configuration, prompt clarity, rubric-prompt alignment
